Cindy's work with Rick Devine on the Siebel Systems project laid the foundation for the Executive Recruiting Outsourcing (ERO) model that serves the majority of Devine Capital's clients today. In addition to the many executives she has recruited, she has also been involved in many of the firm's ERO assignments including SAP, Viacom, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, CA and Juniper Networks.

Cindy works as part of the client team in a similar role to that of an internal executive recruiter. She is the single point of contact for both clients and candidates, overseeing the entire process—from bringing executives into the search, managing research and due diligence, and finalizing all details related to selection and closing procedures. Building a strong, one-on-one relationship with both candidates and clients gives her the perspective required to match each executive's skills, needs and leadership styles with the right companies.

Cindy and Rick have a track record that dates back to 1997, when they first partnered at Heidrick & Struggles on many high-profile search assignments, including partnering with Steve Jobs to recruit Tim Cook, current CEO of Apple. Later, Rick and Cindy partnered again at Internet Capital Group (ICG), where they created a unique, in-house executive recruiting capability for the firm's global portfolio of business Internet companies. Together they built one of the largest internal executive recruiting organizations within a private equity firm, with 40 ICG executive recruiters spread across the United States, Europe and Asia.

Cindy played on the varsity volleyball team at UC Davis, where she earned a bachelor's degree in managerial economics. She lives with her husband and three children in the Silicon Valley.
